On Friday, during a Ranchi-Pune Indigo flight, tragedy struck when a 73-year-old passenger suffered cardiac arrest. The situation was so grave that the plane had to make an emergency landing in Maharashtra’s Nagpur. Unfortunately, the male passenger didn’t make it and was brought dead.
The situation was then handed over to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital for further procedure. However, the case was first handled by KIMS-Kingsway Hospital’s emergency department for immediate treatment. According to Aejaz Shami, deputy general of communication at KIMS-Kingsway Hospital, the passenger had suffered from cardiac arrest and lost consciousness on board the plane.
