The Union Minister for Road, Transport, and National Highways, Nitin Gadkari, recently spoke about the impressive work being done in the state of Uttar Pradesh to improve its law and order situation. During a foundation laying/inauguration ceremony for 18 NHAI projects in Gorakhpur, the minister expressed his belief that Uttar Pradesh is on track to becoming the happiest and most prosperous state in the country.
Gadkari went on to praise Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for establishing an ideal law and order system in the state. He compared Adityanath to Lord Krishna, who took incarnation to protect people from oppression and harm. Similarly, Adityanath, as Gadkari pointed out, has been taking strict actions against the “evil people” in Uttar Pradesh to protect the common man.
The Union Minister also commended Adityanath for setting up an ideal “Ram Rajya,” where poverty alleviation and public welfare are key priorities. The people of Uttar Pradesh can feel the progress being made, he said. Gadkari highlighted the changes that are visible in the state and across the country, and spoke ambitiously about India’s future as a superpower with the mantra of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas Aur Sabka Prayas”.
One of the things that delighted Gadkari was the launch of NHAI projects worth Rs 10,000 crore in Gorakhpur. He reiterated his previous promise that the roads of UP would be as good as those in the USA, and boldly predicted that by the end of 2024, the Rs 5 lakh crore road work in UP would be completed. He envisions that the roads in UP will soon be of the same high quality as those in America, and the state will become as prosperous as the United States.
Gadkari’s presence at the event encouraged investments in UP, and other notable figures such as Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Gen VK Singh and UP PWD Minister Jitin Prasada were also present. Overall, the event demonstrated Uttar Pradesh’s ongoing commitment to move towards becoming a prosperous and thriving state with a strong emphasis on law and order, poverty alleviation, and public welfare.
